As we continue weaving and perfecting the Sacred Tapestry and Mystery that is the Greater Plan, we all have different parts and unique roles to play.
My role is to be a ‘planter,’ not a ‘harvester.’ I leave the cultivating and harvesting to others.
It’s just how my mission is. To merely plant the seeds and leave the nurturance to others.
I also know that not everyone will nurture the seeds that I plant or even take notice.
But I will continue planting seeds — knowing that there are those who will give them high regard. Those for whom the seeds are intended. Those who benefit from cultivating such seeds.
Ignoring or nurturing the seeds neither diminishes nor amplifies my contribution.
It also isn’t a reflection of the recipient’s ability or inability to cherish the gift. How others receive my contribution, and the gift that I’m offering is no longer my concern.
What others do with the gift does not define the value of my gift or others’ ability — or inability — to recognize the gift.
My sharing ends in the sharing; my giving ends in the giving.
[Picked up that last statement from Neale Donald Walsch.]
What I concern myself with more is not sharing and holding back when I’m being asked to share. I’m concerned with the repercussions if and when I choose not to heed the call or ignore the nudge for me to contribute. I see that as a lost opportunity for me to make a difference and help make the world a better place.
At the same time, I’m equally mindful that I do not waste my time and energy planting seeds for the ‘takers.’ Those who take advantage of and abuse others’ kindness and generosity. The ‘lazy’ ones who just wait for the ‘manna from heaven.’ Those who have no concern for the balance and reciprocity in the exchange of energies.
After planting the seed, I merely Surrender, Trust, and Allow the Universe to conspire in whatever way would serve the best and the Highest Good and Best Interests of all parties concerned.
As I do my best, I trust the Universe to take care of the rest and allow Life to unfold as it is supposed to.
And off I go to plant more seeds…..
