A Moment of Gratefulness On A Sunday

I AM grateful for the charmed life that I am enjoying living in the seaside.

There are times though when I begin to be a little bit complacent. Not long after, I find myself interacting with the visitors of Sugar Beach. Our conversations quickly remind me of how blessed I AM with my living situation. And for such timely and much-needed interactions and reminders, I AM  just as grateful!

I AM equally grateful that I am in the city of Bacolod now. I’m here for my regular chiropractic spinal adjustment, some shopping, movie watching, hanging out in a café, dining in restaurants serving healthy and organic meals, and getting some energy of the arts and culture — all of which are non-existent in Sugar Beach.

I sure miss the ocean and will not exchange it for anything. Being away from it though, even only for a few days, and experiencing the energy of the city makes me even more appreciate my blissful and peaceful life near the water!

So, while I no longer have any desire for city living, my occasional trips to the city, despite the distance — it’s 163km (100 mi) away, a four hour travel by car — keep me balanced and grounded.

And for that, I AM ever grateful!

How about you? What are you grateful for?

😀 😀
