I am feeling so damn good!
No. Great! I feel great! And I haven’t felt this way in a loooong time. Yeah!
I feel light!
Light — not as in darkness-light. Light as in unburdened.
I feel alive! I feel like something extraordinary is about to happen.
What? I have no idea, but I feel it. I strongly feel it.
I feel as if a portal has been opened. Like there’s this influx of energies lifting me up. I feel like I’ve had a booster shot of multi-vitamins and minerals. A mega dose of pick-me-up.
Could it be the Autumn Equinox?
Could it be that the sea was much calmer today than in previous days or weeks, and I was able to take a much exhilarating swim, as if it were the summer months? (It is still rainy season in the Philippines although we’ve been getting a pretty good amount of sunshine this month and the last — not like in June and July.)
Could it be that I recently came from a trip to the ‘nearest’ major city — which is 100km away! — where I did some of my grocery shopping, had a long overdue chiropractic adjustment, watched a couple of movies, visited the art museum, connected with a kindred spirit, had a taste of ‘civilization’ after being ‘secluded’ for about three months? (I still wouldn’t trade this island paradise, Sugar Beach, where I’ve been staying since the beginning of the year, for ‘civilization.’)
It is probably all of the above.
Again, I don’t know what it is, but I feel something’s brewing. I sense ‘something’s coming.’
I already walk at quite a fast pace, yet I find myself having an even faster-paced strut. A wide grin. A lightness in my chest. I feel an adrenaline rush yet there’s a sense of tranquility.
And I find myself channelling — joyfully and excitedly — Tony in West Side Story.
I got a feeling there’s a miracle due,
Gonna come true,
Coming to me!
Could it be? Yes, it could.
Something’s coming, something good,
If I can wait!
Something’s coming, I don’t know what it is,
But it is
Gonna be great!
[Inspired by “West Side Story”, Something’s Coming! pairs Canada’s charismatic Superstars the National Ballet’s Guillaume Côté and Stratford Festival’s Paul Nolan in a contemporary interpretation celebrating optimism in the face of conflict. Awesome interpretation!]
Can you relate? Anyone feeling it too? Can you feel ‘something’s coming?’ Perhaps, a miracle [finally] coming true?
