Earlier this year I started to study the history of Ireland and the Celtic people, including Wales, Scotland, Basques and the Picts. The more I studied, the more I became intrigued by the rich cultural heritage, strong characteristics of the people and their legends and beliefs. Then I found myself engrossed in Mediaeval history, castles, weapons… It’s been fun!

  1. Hi Nadine Marie, I love history and your/Cate’s blog today is one of my favorite historical periods and places. Thank you both – Cate for compiling and Nadine Marie for sharing!!! Blessings, Love and Sparkles, Brenda

Nadine, thank you so much for the reblog. It’s a post that I was sure would bomb, but it’s taken off. I guess it just shows you can never predict what posts will fly and what won’t.

All the very best to you.

    • You’re most welcome Cate. My pleasure. ☀ 🙂 ☀

An interesting thing/”accident” actually happened regarding this post but I’ll spare you the details. I just amuse myself with the means through which I am able to silence my Inner Critic/Inner Perfectionist, and the re-posting of this blog being one of those.

Anyway, yes, I too have had those experiences when I thought a post would be “unpopular” or another which I was so sure would be a “hit.” Nope. Blogging can also be a ‘hit-and-miss’ endeavor, I ‘ve realized. Either way, it has been so enjoyable! 🙂

You just don’t know Cate how your post is so significant to me and my healing journey, especially my most pivotal Chiron Return, the time when we revisit our core wound/s — family of origin being one of those for me. My great grandfather is Irish and I had been wanting to know more about that line of my family history. So this compilation falling on my lap is surely the Universe’ very clear and very loud response! So thank you, thank you, thank you! 🙂

And I have also simply been reminded that we really just never know whose lives we touch when we do what brings us the most joy — blogging in my case, and yours too, I presume.

Much Blessings and Much Love to you Cate dear!

🌛🙏💖🌟🌞Would love to hear your thoughts, experiences, and wisdom!!!🌞🌟💞🙏🌜
