64 Ways in 64 Days Nonviolence Daily Reflections Day 9 – Feb. 7, 2012
The thought for today is DREAMING.
Martin Luther King, Jr., had a great dream. Follow your dream; follow your heart; follow your inner light.
We need men (and women) who can dream of things that never were, and ask why not. – George Bernard Shaw
There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask, ‘Why?’ I dream of things that never were, and ask ‘Why not?’ –Robert F Kennedy
Today: I take ownership of my own dream for peace and nonviolence. I will write down and act on at least one thing to honor my dream today.

We all have dreams and we keep on dreaming but why do some of our dreams don’t come true? Filipino author and preacher Bo Sanchez shares that “some of our dreams don’t have power because they’re not connected to our spirit.”
In How To Know If Your Dreams Are God’s Dreams: Finding His Will in Your Deepest Desires, he discusses the following 4 signs to discover your soul dreams:
the dream is connected to your most important values
the dream must bring you closer to God
the dream must be connected to your life purpose and core gifts
the dream must make you happy in the deepest way possible
