another tragedy
hit our country
lives were lost, no places to live
time to mourn, time to grieve
people are asking
people are crying
“how could a disaster hit us
at such a joyous time like Christmas?
this is the worst Christmas gift one can receive!
how could you tell me to trust and believe?”
kind and selfless souls came to the rescue
bless their hearts, their gestures so pure and true
is there anything else one could do
how about a prayer from me and you
