When the moon is full, we tend to become more emotional than usual. More so, under an eclipse.
Those in Asia, Australia and the western coast of America will have the best view. Depending on which part of the globe you’re in, The Los Angeles Times writes, “You’ll have to wake up early to see it—NASA says a red shadow will start to fall across the moon at 4:45 a.m. PST. By 6:05 a.m. PST, the moon will be totally engulfed in red light.” If you want to watch it on your computer, here’s how.
We won’t experience another full moon lunar eclipse until 2014. Between now and then, it will only be partial eclipses. It’s best we take advantage of the energies brought by this cosmic event.
Lunar eclipses often indicate endings. We usually lose someone or an element in our life that we no longer need. Sometimes we are caught unaware but keep in mind that this helps us evolve. There is news about major life events, such as marriage, business ventures, career changes, major travel, higher education.
During this lunar eclipse, the moon is in the sign of Gemini and the eclipse sun in Sagittarius. The area most affected is communication (Gemini) and speaking your truth (Sagittarius). All of us are affected by this eclipse, consciously or not. But those of us who have these signs in our natal chart, either as astrological or rising signs, are most affected.
This is the time to pay extra attention to news, signals or signs that come our way. They carry a message for us with the intention of moving us forward. It doesn’t have to be anything dramatic – it may be a simple comment or remark but which is related to a major area in our life.
It’s also best not to take any action during an eclipse, especially now that Mercury is still in retrograde. Mercury will go direct on December 14.
As with anything, if we flow with rather than resist the energies that the lunar eclipse is bringing us, our experiences will be more smooth-sailing and beneficial.
